MS Treadathon

My Story

I aim to walk from Warrnambool to Cape York shadowing the Great Ocean Road and using the Bicentennial National Trail as a skeleton to branch off and weave between. The aim is to dawdle my way up taking in the scenery and as a side mission, through the struggles I’ll face with that choice, I hope to raise funds to help or at least some awareness of MS and the roulette of struggles those that suffer with it go through daily by no choice of their own. Watching a family member in her own battle with it, if I can do a little something constructive from my walk, whether it be collecting donations to help in the fight against the disease or whether it just encourages someone to reach out to somebody with MS with something as simple as a hug, helping more then they’ll probably ever know, then it will be worth it. The trip can be followed on Facebook under the page To Wend the Windings of an Aimless Amble
