Our Story

Pyramid Hill Shed Ladies (Quilters) are a group of woman in the Central Victorian community of Pyramid Hill and surrounds, who are celebrating the beautiful works of Victoria Street Quilts. Designer Jennifer Peacock, alongside her daughter Penelope Caspani, together ran a local business in Pyramid Hill. Unfortunately this business has now ceased due to ill health. Jennifer’s quilt designs have featured in Patchwork and Quilting Magazines numerous times. The main fundraiser will consist of a Quilt Display & Afternoon Tea on Sunday 29th April 2018. The ladies have been busy creating many items featuring designs by Victoria Street Quilts. Numerous items including quilts, placemats, oven mitts, shopping bags and tea towels available for purchase at the afternoon tea. A raffle is also being ran with the prize being one of the Victoria Street Quilts designs, made by the local quilting ladies. Unfortunately, whilst Victoria Street Quilts no longer operates, this small in size, large at heart caring community hope to raise awareness of MS not only in a small country town but also within the quilting community and hope raising funds can help research for a cure. “Kiss Goodbye to MS” is the national fundraising campaign of MS Australia, the largest non-government funder of MS research in Australia. Proceeds from the afternoon tea will be directly donated here to “Kiss Goodbye to MS”. If you wish to make a donation directly, or are unable to attend the afternoon, please follow the links here on this fundraising page to make your donation – every little bit helps to so we can all Kiss Goodbye to MS together!
