Meet the Tav to the Top team

Riding from The Tav North Nowra to the top of Mount Kosciusko in New South Wales first was just an idea that evolved while sitting around having a cold beer during the 2015 Christmas holidays. This idea has now eventuated into reality for Andrew McVey and the Tav to the Top team.

The team is training hard for the 410km bike ride to support their good friend who has been diagnosed with MS. The ride is going to take the team about 5 days to complete and they are looking to raise awareness for MS whilst reaching their target of raising $100,000 for MS research and Kiss Goodbye to MS along the way.

The Tav to the top team will leave The Tav North Nowra on Tuesday the 25th of October to the Nerriga Hotel, followed by Majors Creek and the Alpine Hotel in Cooma. If everything goes to plan, the Tav to the top team will arrive in Jindabyne on Friday the 28th at night, to then tackle the toughest trip to the top of Mount Kosciusko on Saturday the 29th of October.

To date, the Tav to the Top team has already raised an incredible $4472 for Kiss Goodbye to MS. To further support their fundraising efforts, the Tav to the Top team has organised a Charity Trivia night on the 1st of September at North Nowra. The night includes dinner, trivia and lucky door prizes, and all funds raised go towards vital research into MS.

Kiss Goodbye to MS is very lucky to have the most incredible supporters like the Tav to the Top team, and we wish the Tav to the Top team best of luck for their bike ride and all their fundraising efforts. You can follow their journey directly on their Facebook page and support the Tav to the Top team here. Keep an eye out for them!
