The Red Affair – $55,000 raised for Kiss Goodbye to MS

The Red Affair is the annual fundraising dinner that is hosted by Kiss Goodbye to MS to raise funds for research into MS. Each year the event is held at the iconic China Doll restaurant, and our guests come together for a night of entertainment, auctions and wonderful food.

The atmosphere at The Red Affair is always contagious, and this year was no exception. There was a definite buzz in the restaurant as guests purchased raffle tickets, placed auction bids, heard from our inspiring guest speakers and enjoyed a beautiful Sydney night.

A huge thank you to Scott Byrne and Jillian Kingsford Smith who inspired the audience with their messages of hope, passion and dedication. Scott shared his commitment to research into MS and why he has chosen to dedicate his life to fighting this disease. Jillian, an author and successful journalist shared her raw and very personal story about coming to terms with her MS diagnosis.

Sandra Sully was the MC for the evening, and once again astounded us with her generosity and commitment to raising the profile of MS as a young woman’s disease. Sandra implored guests to give generously throughout the night, and as a result, we are so proud to announce that The Red Affair raised $55,000 for Kiss Goodbye to MS.

The Kiss Goodbye to MS team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Red Affair as well as our generous sponsors, organisations who purchased a table and guest entertainment. We would also like to thank M&a for their long standing support of Kiss Goodbye to MS and The Red Affair.
