We’re in Vogue!

Vogue are known for collaborating with some of the biggest names in the biz: Kate Moss, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kiss Goodbye to MS – yep, you read that right! Okay, so we didn’t make the cover (we were just pipped to the post by Teresa Palmer this time) but Kiss Goodbye to MS is officially in Vogue.

The wonderful team at Vogue Australia wrote an insightful and much needed piece detailing the disease, the advancements we are making and tackles some of the scary misconceptions many newly diagnosed people feel. One of the key messages to emphasise is the importance of knowing your body and recognising the early warning signs that something might not be quite right.

Highlighting the need for optimism and improvements to treatments and therapies, the article stresses the need for more funds for research and hope for those living with MS. “The good news is that MS is becoming easier to diagnose (an MRI and also cerebrospinal fluid testing) and diagnosis is happening 10 times faster than it was in the 1980s. Earlier diagnosis means earlier and more effective intervention.”

When you’re featured in Vogue, you know you’re doing something right! To have such a high profile magazine spreading awareness and informing people about the positive future of MS research really is a dream come true! (We’ll sign autographs later.)
