JACQUI'S MOTOR SHOW FOR MS
Jacqui Orford is one of our fantastic supporters. After two years of planning, she has managed to find a way to use her passion for classic cars and to support MS. With amazing sponsorship from generous local businesses, the Motor Show for Multiple Sclerosis is set to be a day to remember.
Jacqui has been attending classic car shows her whole life and it is her greatest passion. Pulling together the event has been a challenge: from managing council approvals and local sponsors, to arranging the Royal Fire Service who generously volunteered to run the parking lot on the day, it has taken all her persistence and tenacity.
Living with MS Jacqui was not able to attempt the physical challenges run by MS Australia. “This is what I love, I have been wanting to put on my own for some time now.” Jacqui said “It gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning.” This is the inaugural event and if successful will become a yearly fixture.
i can raise awareness about MS and funds for vital research, all while judging amazing cars.
It's not just classic cars on display, motorbikes, fire trucks, and even a train will be there, with all cars from before 1985! The show is happening on Sunday day 23 April at the Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum, Menangle, Sydney. If you’re in the area, pop on down and say hi to Jacqui.
