Let's kiss goodbye to MS
The Rottnest Channel Swim is a 19.7km open water swim from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island held on Saturday 22 February. I am in the final stretches of preparation. I have done over 300km in the pool and ocean since mid October and have learned to not think about sharks (the 2018 race was stopped for a 4m Great White!). What will get me through will be your support, both words and funds that I can hopefully raise for MS Research.
MS is a disease that has a personal connection to me as my Mum has suffered through its effects for over 40 years. The MS landscape has been transformed over the last few years by progress in research and therapeutics. For progressive MS, however, there are limited treatment options. To directly address this, MS Research Australia is focused on understanding progressive MS and accelerating the discovery of solutions to end progressive MS.
Please support me in any way you can to assist in providing funds for further research for a cure and therapies for this disease. Donations are tax-deductible and PwC will match PwC partner/staff donations upto $2,000.
Thanks for your support.
