BACK TO NEWS

Bigger & better, Red Lab Coat Day is back!

Dances, boats, raps and drawings, this year’s Red Lab Coat Day did not disappoint!

It was an exciting start to the month as we launched Kiss Goodbye to MS on May 1st with our MS researchers across Australia celebrating our annual Red Lab Coat Day.

The name of the day, says it all! Our researchers get in on all the fun and action by switching their usual white lab coats for red ones. This year over 20 research institutions helped us kick off Kiss Goodbye to MS across Australia and even our colleagues in the Netherlands, Ireland and New Zealand jumped on board and switched their lab coats to red/kiss lab coats. We love seeing the different countries celebrate the combined efforts of our MS researchers across the world to find a cure for MS and Kiss Goodbye to MS.

This year we brought to you the ‘Battle of the Labs’! We’ve put a word out to all the research groups to not only take photos, but to create a video showcasing their passion, dedication and hard work towards MS research. Nine brilliant videos were submitted and the public can now ‘kiss’ (vote) for their favourite on our website.

We promise you, these are worth a watch! Our researchers are not only astounding at what they do for MS research, but they are also extraordinarily creative and funny and never fail to amaze us. Check out all the creative videos here and ‘kiss’ (vote) for your favourite! The winning lab will be announced on World MS Day 30th May and receive an exciting little price for their lab.

Red Lab Coat Day is our way to say THANK YOU to our MS researchers across the world and highlight the significant contributions and invaluable work of our Australian researchers to find a cure for MS!
