Drawing on their mum’s strength to raise $100,000 for Kiss Goodbye to MS

This is Millie and Sarah Horton, identical twin sisters who both work in investment banking. Their passion and determination is infectious, and they have committed to making a difference by raising funds for Kiss Goodbye to MS. Before Millie and Sarah were born, their mum was diagnosed with MS. Growing up the girls found it hard to understand exactly what MS is, all they knew was that this disease was causing gradual reductions in their mum’s health. While growing up watching their mum battle MS was difficult it is her strength and courage that has given these incredible sisters the motivation to achieve so much in their lives. And now they have set their sights on holding a Kiss Goodbye to MS charity ball in Melbourne, with a fundraising target of $100,000.

Over the last 15 years these twin sisters have watched the progression MS has had on their mum. As a consequence, they have kept a close eye on current MS research taking place, and have decided that in 2017 they will do something to make a difference. For this incredible family, watching their mum battle with MS was frustrating, but together they formed an unbreakable bond as a family of 4. They became a family that would not let anything, let alone their mum’s MS, stand in their way.

Millie and Sarah are a force to be reckoned with and have a unique ability to get things done. They have put together a group of women with the same commitment and dedication that they have, and together they are organising the Kiss Goodbye to MS Charity Ball to be held on the 1st of April, 2017. The ball will be held at The Plaza Ballroom, Melbourne, and will include a decadent 3 course meal, live auctions, music, entertainment and some incredible guest speakers.

In Millie and Sarah’s own words “The strength of our mum has always been, and continues to be our motivator.” Tickets for this incredible event go on sale in the next few weeks, and we can’t wait to keep you updated on the progress of these incredible young women.
