Kiss Goodbye to MS Launch Breakfast

The 2016 Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign was officially launched on Wednesday 4th May with an intimate breakfast at a stunning private venue in Woolwhich. The event was hosted by one of our Ambassadors, Sara Donaldson, and approximately 50 guests attended, including bloggers, people from the media industry, fundraisers and our corporate partners. The event was a huge success and a great way to celebrate Kiss Goodbye to MS!

We were delighted to be able to invite some of our key, longstanding supporters to join us in launching Kiss Goodbye to MS. The guests looked fabulous and surprised us with creative ideas of how to stick to our ‘a touch of red’ dress code. Claire Fabb, the founder of popular fashion blog Style by Yellow Button, and close supporter of Kiss Goodbye to MS was the MC on the day. Claire shared her personal connection with MS to guests, and detailed the journey of having a mother living with the disease.

MS Research Australia’s Head of Research, Dr Lisa Melton addressed the audience explaining the desperate need for more funding into research. We were also thrilled to have Kiss Goodbye to MS Ambassador, Mez Gallifuoco share her personal experience of living with MS since she was 17 years old. Mez emphasized the big impact it has not only on her, but on her family and friends. She resumed her speech with highlighting the importance of raising awareness for MS and her process of not letting the disease overtake her life but instead taking a positive approach to life.

We thank everyone who was involved in making this event happen, sharing their pictures on social media and making the day a great success and start into this year’s Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign. Now, bring on the rest May!
