Kiss Goodbye to MS in the media
Kiss Goodbye to MS is a campaign about hope, that together we can raise funds to accelerate research into multiple sclerosis. Funds raised by our supporter contribute to ongoing research into MS, to better understand the disease and eventually find a cure for MS. It is crucial that we continue to raise the profile of MS as a complicated disease, educate people about what a diagnosis with MS really means, as well as share our research advancements with the Australian community.
The Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign runs throughout May, and we were lucky to have a great media exposure throughout the month. Kiss Goodbye to MS was mentioned across various print media publications including ELLE Magazine, Popsugar.com, The Canberra Times, Mumbrella, The Courier Mail and many others. On World MS Day, our Kiss Goodbye to MS Ambassador, Emma Giunti, shared her personal story and raised awareness for multiple sclerosis on The Morning Show. This was a fantastic way to round off our May campaign.
Once again, this year we saw great support on social media. We were so grateful for key Australian’s who promoted Kiss Goodbye to MS including Sara Donaldson (Harper & Harley), Elyse Knowles (Australian model), Ada Nicodemou (Home&Away Actress), OK Magazine, Women’s Weekly, Leigh Campbell (Huffington Post) and many other bloggers and celebrities.
All of this media is a result of our hard working pro-bono PR team, Cube. Cube work tirelessly with the Australian media to sell the Kiss Goodbye to MS message – and we simply couldn’t run our campaign without them!
