Meet Kerrie Newton

Kerrie Newton is one of dedicated Kiss Goodbye to MS fundraisers. Kerrie was diagnosed with MS in 2008, after which her life took an unexpected turn, as Kerrie now does everything from a wheelchair. In 2011, Kerrie restarted her passion for candle making, and Mesmerize Candles was born.

After her diagnosis, Kerrie dedicated her life to help raise funds for ongoing research into MS, to find a cure for MS for our next generation so that they can live their lives free of multiple sclerosis.

This year, Kerrie organised her first fundraising Champagne Luncheon in her local community in Manly. With about 50 ladies wearing red lippy attending, and donated prizes from the local sponsors, Kerrie’s event was a huge success and raised $3600 on the day!

Mesmerize Candles continues to burn brightly, and Kerrie donated $3 from every ‘Kiss’ candle sold to Kiss Goodbye to MS. These candles are a huge hit within the MS community, and at Kiss Goodbye to MS HQ!

The Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign is lucky to have such wonderful fundraisers, who surprise us with their ideas each year to raise funds for vital research into multiple sclerosis. We couldn’t do it without you, so thank you!
