Last year Roanna’s husband was diagnosed with MS. He is only 32 years old. Understandably, this was a huge shock for their entire family. The past year has been a rollercoaster of emotions, with ups and downs and often information overload.
She has decided to do something to make a difference.
“Although I wish I could cure him, I can’t. So I’m doing what I know how to do – run!”
And Roanna wasn’t kidding when she said she is going to run. In September she will run the Sydney marathon and is in training at the moment. She proudly wears her Kiss Goodbye to MS singlet on her runs… so give her a wave if you see her!
Roanna has already raised over $1,500 for Kiss Goodbye to MS, and if you ask us, running 42km deserves a donation! Head to Roanna’s fundraising page here to support her.
